Description

Je viens de faire un test avec le premier noyau 2.5.0 (linux-image-generic-lts-trusty), et la commande « hwe-support-status » ne comporte pas de la même façon avec toutes les séries de noyau, elle n’affiche aucune sortie avec le premier noyau de la série Trusty :-/

Correctif pour diagnose et l’agent Zéphir.

Non verbose output of “hwe-support-status” can be empty

Sometimes, “hwe-support-status” output nothing when the current kernel
is supported (tested with EOLE 2.5.2 and
linux-image-generic-lts-trusty).

  • diagnose/03-packages: Always use verbose output of
    “hwe-support-status”.

Pour tester

Depuis une EOLE 2.5 :

  1. Installer linux-image-generic-lts-trusty (cela installe le noyau 3.13)
  2. Démarrer sur ce noyau (Option avancées pour EOLE GNU/Linux)
  3. Supprimer tous les autres paquets de noyau (probablement linux-image-generic-lts-wily et apt-get --purge autoremove)
  4. Exécuter diagnose
  5. Mettre à jour
  6. Exécuter diagnose
