Il y a peu de chance pour qu'on ait un nouveau paquet de la part d'Ubuntu : https://launchpad.net/ldaptor/+packages

Voila un contournement (moche) :

sed -ie "s/getDomainName()$/getDomainName() or ''/" /usr/share/pyshared/ldaptor/protocols/ldap/ldapconnector.py

Le moche contournement fonctionne.
On ne peut pas faire grand chose de plus à part espérer que Ubuntu fournisse une version plus récente.
