Le problème vient du fait que si le service salt-master est redémarré, il faut obligatoirement redémarrer le service salt-api.
Une fois le service salt-api relancé, les actions marchent de nouveau (sans ré-authentification).

=> les services doivent redémarrer ensemble (c'est le cas au reconfigure)

Lionel a constaté avec moi ... il y a encore le problème.

J'ai gardé un onglet ouvert hier et je n'ai pas de message explicite me disant que je ne suis pas connecté.
